The e:car WALL PRO charging station complies with Eichrecht.
What is it?
Eichrecht is a German law that defines the requirements for all measuring devices such as petrol station stands and electricity meters. Therefore, this charging station is equipped with an electricity meter, which must ensure that the quantity supplied corresponds to the actual volume. This is not yet required in the Czech Republic, but it is very likely that the Czech Republic will follow Germany in putting this into practice.
In short: Meters must be calibrated so that one kWh always equals one kWh. In addition, consumers should be able to check that their invoice is correct. In this way, they can make sure that they have been charged the correct amount of energy and that the data from the charging station has not been altered by a third party, such as a charging point operator or an e-mobility service provider.
To meet these requirements, the charging station must have a certified energy meter that correctly calibrates the kWh of energy consumed and physically displays this value to consumers. The charging station shall encrypt this information before sending it to other systems to prevent third parties from altering the data.
Cost accounting option
Our customers can access their metered data, also known as transactions, through our IONT info app.
IONT info provides 3 levels of access:
- user (driver)
- administrator (accountant)
- superadmin (company owner)
In addition to billing, the IONT info app offers the ability to manage RFID cards, authorization - remote start, schedule recharges, automatic start (e.g. after hours on a low tariff), manage users, or perhaps detailed statistics.

For corporate fleets, it is important that charging stations are in the visual style of the company.
A charging station can be operated by large companies with a fleet of thousands of company cars, but also by small family businesses for charging company cars and visitors' electric vehicles.

Vandal resistant
The e:car WALL PRO charging station has a solid all-metal body. Even the cover panel is metal. It can be equipped with corporate graphics to promote the company brand or painted not only in RAL shades.
The display is not touch-sensitive to protect the charging station and the wallbox is equipped with mechanical buttons to prevent possible damage.
The Type 2 sockets are recessed as far as possible into the body of the charging station to prevent damage.
The charging station can be mounted on the wall using a mounting kit, or on a solid metal leg for placement freely in the space.
Commercial use
The colour display does not only have to be used to show the charging progress, but can also be used for commercial messages, such as a promotional offer from a shop or restaurant.
Describe the charging conditions at a public charging station. The display area is large enough for messages that you would otherwise have to place outside the charging station and in addition to the charging station.
