The Záruka Elektromobilita programme combines a grant for an electric vehicle and a charging station with a loan guarantee from the National Development Bank (NRB). Status as of September 2026: the first call is exhausted and no second call has been decided yet.

Looking for a subsidy as a household?
Households can get CZK 10,000 per charging point for home charging as part of the solar PV subsidy (the Oprav dům po babičce programme; PV only together with insulation). Apartment buildings can use an interest-free NZÚ loan in which the station is an eligible cost.

Who is eligible for the EV subsidy for businesses?
Businesses of any size: self-employed persons, small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies that pay income tax. Private individuals and companies owned by regional or local authorities are not eligible. Both the vehicle and the charging station must be financed by a loan or lease guaranteed by the National Development Bank.
How much can you get for an electric car?
Under Záruka Elektromobilita up to CZK 200,000 for a battery electric passenger car and up to CZK 300,000 for a commercial or hydrogen vehicle, plus a bank guarantee of up to 70% of the loan principal. For a charging station up to CZK 50,000 (AC), CZK 100,000 (DC up to 40 kW) or CZK 150,000 (more powerful DC). The total limit per company is EUR 200,000 over three years.
How do you apply?
The application is submitted to the National Development Bank, most often through a leasing company or the vehicle dealer arranging the lease. The minimum loan is CZK 300,000. For the charging station grant you attach a quote from IONT tech for the station; installation is carried out by a certified IONT partner.
Does the subsidy also apply to the self-employed?
Yes. The self-employed have the same conditions as companies: they must pay income tax and finance the vehicle by a loan or lease guaranteed by the NRB.
