Wallbox IONT tech

To choose the right wallbox, you first need to ask yourself what your requirements for charging your electric car are.
How many electric cars will you be charging? This determines whether it will have one or two charging points
Where will the wallbox be located? Our wallboxes are resistant to weather conditions and vandalism, so they can be installed both in a garage and in a publicly accessible location. They always have IP54 protection. The operating temperature for charging is -30 to +50 degrees Celsius.
wallbox with an integrated cable and Type 2 connector will be more convenient for everyday use. For installation in a public space, a version with a socket will be more suitable. A cable / socket combination is of course also possible.

The important part is hidden inside. That is, what features and functions your wallbox will have. As for charging output, all of our AC charging stations handle a range of up to 2 x 22kW. You can set the output variably. You can also choose wallboxes with Smart load management to suit the needs of the building's connection. Our wallboxes are compatible with photovoltaic systems.

A wallbox charges an electric car up to 10 times faster than a standard socket. Charging from a socket should only be used when it is not possible to charge with a device intended for the purpose, i.e. in an emergency and only to enable you to reach the nearest charging station with your electric car, where it can be charged safely. In countries with well-developed electromobility, such as Norway, this is already regulated by law. In the event of an insurance claim, a client who was charging from a socket will receive no insurance payout. The point is that a wallbox is not an ordinary household appliance like a kettle or a television. A wallbox may only be installed by an authorised person (professionally qualified under Decree No. 50/1978 Coll.). In addition, this person must hold the professional qualification of Installer of charging stations for electric vehicles. Without these authorisations, the new owner may have problems obtaining a subsidy, or when dealing with a fault on their electric car caused precisely by the improper connection of the wallbox.

If you are considering charging 2 vehicles at the same time, you can choose from our AC wallboxes e:car WALL and e:car WALL PRO.

Wallbox e:car WALL

For charging 2 electric cars at the same time, you can choose the variant with one Type 2 socket and one Type 2 connector, or the version with two cables with a Type 2 connector. This charging station is suitable for both home and business use. You can specify the wallbox's equipment in the configuration.

Wallbox e:car WALL PRO

This is the professional version of the wallbox, with an electricity meter for each charging point and the option of invoicing. It is therefore an ideal candidate for business or public charging. The e:car WALL PRO wallbox can be fitted with an RFID reader for user authorisation. A major advantage is the all-metal body with sockets recessed into the body of the wallbox.

Both of our wallboxes, the e:car WALL and the e:car WALL pro, can be installed on a stand, allowing them to be positioned freely in a space. This is an elegant and economical solution for charging electric cars where there is no option to mount them on a building facade or any other vertical surface. In some cases it is not possible to run the cabling into the wall (if it was not prepared in advance, or in the case of a concrete monolith), so the stand can be used for safely routing cables, for example in public spaces.

You can choose from various versions of the AC charging stations e:car DC WALL and e:car COLUMN, which can also be used for private and public charging.
