E-bike charging station grants 2026
Want to buy an e-bike charging station – e:bike WALL or e:bike BAR – with grant support? E-bike charging is financed as part of cycling infrastructure, mainly from the IROP 2021–2027 programme and from regional grant programmes. We advise and prepare the application documents.
Where to draw from
IROP 2021–2027
- Specific objective 6.1 – Infrastructure for cycling transport.
- An e-bike charging station owned by the applicant (charging at the locally usual price) is an eligible expense of accompanying cycling infrastructure.
- Who applies: regions, municipalities, voluntary associations of municipalities and their organisations.
- Calls No. 66 (ITI) and 35/36 (MRR/PR).
A standalone project only where cycling intensity is high; otherwise as accompanying infrastructure of a cycle path.
Regional grant programmes
- Each region announces its own annual calls for cycling transport, cycle tourism and accompanying infrastructure.
- The grant usually covers 40–80 % of the project's eligible costs (depending on the region and applicant type).
- Mainly municipalities and associations apply; tourism programmes are often open to businesses too.
An overview of individual regions and their conditions is in the table below. Deadlines are annual – we are happy to find out what is currently open in your region.
National add-on – SFDI: The State Fund for Transport Infrastructure contributes to municipalities, regions and associations for the construction and reconstruction of the cycle paths themselves (up to 65 %, or 80 % on abandoned railway lines; CZK 1–100m, annual intake in January). It funds the cycle path itself; the charging station is handled under IROP or a regional programme as accompanying infrastructure. SFDI conditions
