Product details

Overview

Dual AC charging station with tethered cable and Type 2 socket

e:car WALL double SMART charges two vehicles at the same time at up to 2× 22 kW, via a tethered cable and a Type 2 socket. Output adapts to the building's consumption, and the stainless steel body with tempered glass and IP54 rating allows indoor or outdoor installation. Designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic.

Key features

Two outputs

A tethered Type 2 cable, 5 m as standard (8, 10 or 12 m optional), and a Type 2 socket built into the housing. The cable connector withstands a load of 2 t.

Power management

Normal, Eco and Boost modes. A built-in meter on the main supply measures household consumption and export to the grid. The station does not communicate with the inverter, so it works with photovoltaic systems of any make, including after a replacement.

Residual current protection

EV residual current device for each output (AC 30 mA + DC 6 mA); no Type B RCD is required.

Thermal protection

Sensors in the power electronics, in the connector and at both ends of the cable. If the cable exceeds 100 °C, the station stops charging.

Connectivity and metering

Wi-Fi and LAN, management in the IONT.info app, RFID access and over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates. The station measures energy in kWh, voltage, current and grid frequency. Via Modbus TCP the station can be controlled from Home Assistant, Loxone or a building energy management system.

Construction and warranty

Stainless steel body, tempered glass and a lockable housing with a shaped lock, IP54 rating, operation from −30 to +50 °C. Warranty: 2 years on the unit, 3 years on the power electronics.
